DIXFIELD — The Dixfield Nazarene Church will have a Spring Auction and Food Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 27. There will be items for all ages and baked goods, soups, soda and water will be available for purchase. The church is located at 171 Weld St.
RUMFORD — The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing will offer a free mandala art therapy workshop to cancer patients, survivors and caregivers at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, in conference room A at Rumford Hospital.
Participants are encouraged to experience the journey of creating their own personal mandala within a group setting. Caroline “Tookie” Bright, a University of New England MSW graduate student, will facilitate. She has been exploring art therapy for the past eight years.

MEXICO — As part of the Mexico Public Library’s “Wonderful Wednesdays” monthly programs, the library will host an Easter “Egg-stravaganza!” for kids ages 2 to 10. The event will take place from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, at the Calvin Lyons Hall next door to the library (lower level of the Town Hall building).
Along with an Easter Egg Hunt and other related activities, children’s book author Mary Fenstermacher will introduce and treat the group to a reading of her new book, “Pablo Visits the Desert.” For more information, contact the library at 364-3281.
