FARMINGTON — The Mt. Blue Middle School’s Alaska Experience Group will hold a spaghetti supper from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 1, at the Mt. Blue Middle school cafeteria. The meal is being held to help raise funds for 10 middle school student’s trip to Alaska in the fall.
Tickets are $5 each or $20 for a family and may be purchased at the door.
FARMINGTON — The Farmington Area Ecumenical Association Good Friday service will take at noon Friday, April 2, at Old South Congregational Church, United Church of Christ.
Participating churches include: Fairbanks Union Church; Farmington Friends Meeting; Henderson Memorial Baptist Church, ABC; Old South; First Congregational Church, UCC; St. Luke’s Episcopal Church; St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church; Shorey Chapel, UCC; and Trinity United Methodist Church. All are welcome.
WILTON — The Wilton Library will have a book sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 27 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 10. There will be a variety of used books including Westerns, romance, fiction, nonfiction and children’s books. Everything is by donation; the buyer will choose how much to give. All money will go to the library.
FAIRBANKS — An antique and collectible sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 27, at the Fairbanks School Meeting House, Route 4. The sale will consist of sterling, Limoges china, other glass and fine china dishes, a model ship, tools, furniture, linens and collectibles, among a variety of other antiques.
