RUMFORD — The Rumford First Baptist Church, corner of Plymouth Avenue and Washington Street, has announced Easter services. A Maundy Thursday service will be held at 6 p.m. April 1.
On Easter Sunday, April 4, there will be an “SonRise” service at 7 a.m., followed by a free breakfast. The resurrection service will begin at 11 a.m.

DIXFIELD — The American Legion, Swasey-Torrey Post 100, will host a supper with live music from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, April 2, at the post. Menu will include either roast pork or fish chowder. The cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and under.
FREEPORT — The Maine Innkeepers Education Foundation, affiliated with the Maine Innkeepers Association, is accepting applications for their 26th annual scholarship program. The scholarship was designed to offer partial support and encourage Maine students pursuing careers in culinary sciences or hospitality.
Applications must be received before Friday, April 9, and will be reviewed by a selection committee. Any Maine resident who has been accepted to a fully accredited school with specialties in hotel administration or culinary sciences and is pursuing a career in hospitality is encouraged to apply for a scholarship award ranging from $500 to $2000.
