Bonnet parade

AUBURN — Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94 will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, April 5, in the recreation room at the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Home, 85 Caron Lane. There will be an Easter bonnet parade contest. Awards will be given for first, second and third places, to be voted by the members.

Widows to meet

LISBON FALLS — The Lisbon Area Widows Fellowship will meet on Monday, April 5, at the Lisbon United Methodist Church, School Street. The gathering will begin at 11:30 a.m. for fellowship, followed by a potluck lunch. All interested widows in the area are invited.

Scholarship night

LISBON — Lisbon High School will hold its annual Scholarship Night from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, in the school cafeteria. Seniors and their parents are invited.

Representatives from local organizations offering scholarships will be present to distribute applications to interested students. For more information, call the guidance office at 353-3030.

Society speaker

NEW GLOUCESTER — The New Gloucester Historical Society will feature Craig Denekas, head of Pineland Farms, at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 15,  at the Meetinghouse on Route 231, next to the Town Hall.

He will speak about the farm operation situated on 5000 acres in New Gloucester. All  are invited. Refreshments will be served. A business meeting will follow the program.

Bridge results

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Bridge Club winners of the quarterly club championship on March 30 at the Multi-Purpose Center were as follows: first, Nancy Lindgren and Les Buzzell; second, Jeanine Kivus and Luke Merry; third, Sue Kaluzynski and Donna Bartlett; fourth, Marta Clements and Helen Little.

Winners of the quarterly club championship at Schooner Estates in Auburn on March 31 were: first, Patricia Garcia and David Lock; second, Marta Clements and Helen Little.

Games are played at 9 a.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Multi-Purpose Center and at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Schooner Estates. A partner is guaranteed. Call Rosemarie Goodwin at 754-1431 for information about all duplicate bridge games in the area.
