NORWAY — The Norway Memorial Library will celebrate National Library Week, April 12 to 17, with an amnesty for fines on overdue materials returned during the week.
The library is hoping to retrieve many of those items that have gotten misplaced over the years, and welcome borrowers back who have accumulated fines as a result. The public is asked to search around for all those books, DVDs and CDs and return them during National Library Week.
SOUTH PARIS — All are welcome to Trinity Lutheran Church, 34 Buckfield Road, on Sunday, April 11, the second Sunday of Easter. Sunday School starts at 9 a.m. and worship service at 10:15 a.m.
It is also Holy Humor Sunday and people are invited to show their talents. There will be refreshments, coffee and fellowship following the service.
NORWAY — The Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met April 2 in the Fare Share Building, Main Street. A four-table Howell movement was played.
Finishing first in flight A were Dick Allen and Pete Cummings; second, Richard Worthington and Jim Fallon, who were also first in flight B. Third in flight A, Bev Pelletier and Marta Clements; second in flight B, Priscilla Roth and Hazel Glazier.

NORWAY — A benefit spaghetti dinner will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 10, at the Norway Fire Station. Cost for adults is $6; kids 12 and under, $4.
The event, sponsored by Kiah Roth, a student at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, will benefit the Responsible Pet Care Animal Shelter.
