LEWISTON — A potluck supper to benefit the Spencer family will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 17, at Holy Cross Church, 1080 Lisbon St.
Carlton Spencer has had many severe health problems since the fall of 2007 and has not been able to work. He underwent another emergency surgery in February. Carlton and Kelly Spencer live in Lewiston with their four children, ages 6 to 18. Those attending should bring a dish to share.
There will be raffle items, as a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. Donations for the supper will be accepted, with a suggested amount of $6 each person or $10 each couple. All proceeds will go directly to the Spencer family.

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens will meet at noon Monday, May 3, for a spaghetti lunch with a meatball, salad, garlic bread, beverage and dessert. A meeting will follow at 1. Reservations for the lunch must be made by Monday, April 26. Tickets may be purchased in the office or call 784-2926 to reserve.
Mother and Father Of The Year will be chosen. Bingo will follow the meeting for members.
“Just Us” will present a concert at 7 p.m. Friday, May 7, at the Multi-Purpose Center. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Lewiston Senior Citizens program. The concert is open to the public with general admission seating.
Tickets are available for $5 at the office, 145 Birch St., and may also be purchased at the door for $6. Refreshments will be on sale. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
LEWISTON — La Survivance Française will hold its annual banquet at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, May 2, at the Ramada Inn Conference Center. The meal, served family style, will consist of chicken cordon bleu, Boston scrod, Italian noodles, mashed carrots and turnip, mashed potatoes, coffee or tea and a slice of chocolate cream pie for dessert.
Tickets cost $15 and must be purchased from the officers or President Aliette Couturier at 784-1434 no later than Monday, April 26.
Following the meal a French musical program will be held. The banquet is also open to the public.
