Webster Cemetery

CHESTERVILLE — The Webster Cemetery Association will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, April 19, at the Chesterville Town Hall.

Snowe office hours

AUBURN — The office of U.S. Sen. Olympia J. Snowe will hold office hours on Thursday, April 22, in Strong and Jay. Area residents will have the chance to meet directly with a staff representative to discuss specific problems, legislative issues or any concerns regarding federal government agencies, such as Social Security, veterans affairs and the Internal Revenue Service.

Hours will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Foster Building, 14 South Maine St., Strong, and from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room, 99 Maine St., Jay.

Garden club

FARMINGTON — The Mt. Blue Area Garden Club will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Farmington Falls Road.

Dave Fuller, agriculture and nontimber forest products professional, will present a program on “Fiddleheads and Wild Leeks: How much can we pick?” Hostesses Nancy York, Jean Longyear and Pat Stillman will serve refreshments. The public is invited to attend.

Society meeting

NEW VINEYARD — Members of the New Vineyard Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, in their room at the Library/Town Office building.

The program will be a night of browsing the archives, family books, files, scrap books and pictures of older homes and businesses. The public is invited to attend.

Community breakfast

RANGELEY — A ladies/community breakfast, with everyone invited, will be held from 7 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, at Sweet Dreams.

Auction fundraiser

CANTON — The Canton Cruisers Relay For Life team will host a Chinese auction on Saturday, April 17, at the Canton Fire Station. Doors will open at 2 p.m. and the auction will begin at 4.
