LEWISTON — The Longley-Dionne VFW Post 9150 will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, at the Multi-Purpose Center. All officers and members are encouraged to attend.

AUBURN — Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94 will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, April 19, in the recreation room at the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Home, 85 Caron Lane. Veteran members and Past Noble Grands will be honored.
Donations will be collected for the Visual Research Fund of the International Association of Rebekah Assemblies and the Sovereign Grand Lodge of Odd Fellows. The lodge will also observe Founder’s Day, the 191st anniversary of Odd Fellowship. Glendon Spiller will speak of the history of Odd Fellowship.
LEWISTON — The Ladies of St. Ann Sodality of Holy Family, Prince of Peace Parish, will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, at the Holy Family Parish Hall. There will be elections of officers and counselors. After a brief business meeting, the membership will play a few games of bingo. There will door prizes and 50/50.
Members and guests are invited. Refreshments will be served.
Pine Grove cemetery
POLAND — The annual meeting of the directors and officers of the Pine Grove Cemetery Corp. will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 25, at the Poland Historical Society Building.
All lot owners and members of the corporation are encouraged to attend.
LEWISTON — The Androscoggin Chapter 4077 of AARP will meet at 1:15 p.m. Monday, April 26, at the Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch St. John Jenkins will speak on the topic of safety. Everyone is invited to attend.
There will be refreshments following the meeting. There will be a board meeting at 12:30 prior to the general meeting.
Life Line screening
AUBURN — Residents living in and around the Auburn community can be screened to reduce their risk of having a stroke or bone fracture. Life Line Screening will be at St. Phillips Catholic Church, 2365 Turner Road, on Friday, April 23. Appointments will begin at 10 a.m.
Screenings will identify potential cardiovascular conditions and a bone density screening to assess osteoporosis risk will also be offered and is appropriate for both men and women.
