OXFORD — The Oxford Al-Anon group will host a sponsorship workshop from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, at the Oxford Town Office, upstairs, 85 Pleasant St.
The group will discuss getting started, guidelines, what to expect, how to get a sponsor and other questions. The workshop is open to all.
NORWAY — The Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met April 16 in the Fare Share Building, Main Street. A three-table Howell movement was played.
Finishing first were Pete Cummings and Dick Allen with Jim Fallon and Richard Worthington second. The next game will be played at 9:15 a.m. Friday, April 23. All bridge players are invited and a partner is guaranteed.

NORWAY — The Responsible Pet Care Feline Shelter and Adoption Center is in need of Purina adult cat and kitten food, as well as cat litter. The shelter provides care for 85 to 100 felines on a regular basis and will adopt out nearly 500 felines this year into new homes.

WATERFORD — The Waterford Library bridge group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 26. Meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month. No partner is necessary. Beginning and experienced players are welcome. It is an informal group where participants may learn from each other.
