TURNER — SAD 52 Adult and Community Education will offer two new spring courses, both starting on Tuesday, May 11. Participants in “Introduction to Backpacking” will learn all the basics of backpacking. There will be equipment, show and tell and discussion.
Participants in a juggling course will learn the basics of three-ball juggling. Maximum number of students for each class is 12. Children ages 10 to 16 are allowed to attend the classes, if accompanied by an adult.

Drama program performance
MONMOTH — The second- and third-graders at H. L. Cottrell School will perform “Jack And The Beanstalk, With A Little Bit Of Help From His Twin Brother, Carl!,” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 30 and May 1, at Cumston Hall. There will be general admission seating.

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn AIDS Walk will be held on Saturday, May 1. Registration will be at 9 a.m. Participants will walk from 10 a.m. to noon, starting at New Beginnings, 436 Main St. Proceeds will benefit the HIV/AIDS prevention services of New Beginnings, Outright Lewiston-Auburn and WMCA Health Services.

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens will meet at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 28.
Members will get information on a trip to Branson Musical Theater, Nov. 2 to 6. Information will also be available for day trips sponsored by the Meadowview Seniors. They include a trip to Indian Head Resort, leaving on Friday, May 7 and a trip to the Ogunquit Playhouse to see “Spamalot the Musical,” Wednesday, Aug. 23.
