CASCO — The Sunshine Club of Webbs Mills, Casco, will hold a public supper from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at the Crescent Lake Community Hall, Route 11.
The menu includes baked beans, hot dogs, American chop suey, salads, cole slaw, corn bread, pies, coffee and beverages. Cost for adults is $6 and children, $4. Proceeds will benefit community projects.
NORWAY — Responsible Pet Care and Pawsibilities Thrift Shoppe will celebrate Be Kind To Animals Week with open houses from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday to Saturday, May 6 to 8.
All are welcome to stop by for refreshments and bring a donation if desired. Items used frequently at the shelter are Purina cat and kitten food, cat litter, bleach, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, fabric softener dryer sheets and hand sanitizer.
