LISBON FALLS — Nelson-Conley American Legion Post 66 will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, at the Slovak Hall upstairs meeting room on Avery Street.
The agenda will include installation of 2010-11 officers and discussion of Memorial Day. All members, prospective members and active duty personnel are asked to attend.
LEWISTON — Additional community volunteers are being sought for USM-Lewiston’s Pharmaceutical Information Pushers team.
On one or two days in late May or early June, the team of social policy students and friends will distribute prescription assistance information to Lewiston-Auburn physicians, pharmacies and social service agencies.

LISBON FALLS — The Memorial Day observance for the Lisbon will be on Monday, May 31. The annual parade with services will assemble by 8:30 a.m. at Craft Motor Sales, with the parade stepping off at 9 a.m.

LEWISTON — The 18th annual National Letter Carrier Food Drive, conducted in cooperation with the United States Postal Service, will be held on Saturday, May 8.
Nonperishable food items may be left next to mailboxes on that day. Letter carriers will deliver the donations to local food banks and pantries. Glass items cannot be accepted.
