LEWISTON — The Rosary Sodality of the Prince of Peace Parish will meet on Tuesday, May 11, at the Seniors Hall of the Holy Cross Church, 16 St. Croix St. The recitation of the rosary will be at 6:30 p.m., followed by the installation of new members and a business meeting. Plans for the June banquet will be discussed. Refreshments will follow.
Golden Age Club
LEWISTON — The Golden Age Club of Sacred Heart Church will celebrate with an anniversary dinner on Tuesday, May 11, at Dudley’s Restaurant, the Ramada Inn. Members can make their reservations by calling Paula at 576-4082. The club members will meet at the restaurant at 11:30 a.m.
New officers recently installed were: Rita Melendy, president; Lorraine O’Neil, vice president; Helen Franck, secretary; and Lorraine Higgins, treasurer. An event is being planned for Range Pond for the meeting on Tuesday, July 13.
NEW GLOUCESTER — Steve Paone will perform at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, May 9, at the New Gloucester Bible Church, 218 Lewiston Road, Route 100. There will be fellowship and refreshments at 6 p.m.
Admission is free and an offering will be taken for Hope House.
LEWISTON — The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing at Central Maine Medical Center will offer a free workshop series for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers titled “Staying on Track: Keeping a Positive Mindset.”
The 90-minute workshop will take place at 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 10, at 12 High Street, on the CMMC campus, conference room I. It is part of the ongoing Growing Through Cancer series presented by Marcy Covey. Covey will focus on the benefits of living intentionally in a way that keeps outlooks and attitudes positive.

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on May 3 were as follows: first, Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos; second, Lue Bilodeau and Luke Merry; third, Dick Allen and Richard Balian; fourth/fifth tie, Marta Clements and Claire Lyons with Helen Little and Les Buzzell.
