WOODSTOCK — The Bethel Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, at the Cross Stone Restaurant, next to the Mollyockett Motel. Reservations must be made by May 10 by calling Nancy at 824-3350 or Arlene at 824-2877. The price of the dinner is $12.
PERU — The Peru Extension Homemakers will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 11, at the Peru Baptist Church. Attendees are asked to bring items for the raffle basket and for the nursing home basket.
Those attending should also bring a bag lunch.
Diabetes fun day
SOUTH PARIS — A Diabetes Fun Day will be held from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 16, at the Gouin Complex. There will be activities planned for kids and their parents, along with guest speakers and vendors to educate those living with diabetes and anyone interested in the topic of this disease.
There is no cost to attend, but donations will be appreciated with all proceeds donated to the American Diabetes Association. Lunch, snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase.

WILTON — Friendship Squares and the Swingin’ Bears square dance clubs will co-host an easy mainstream square dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 22, at the Cushing School, 10 Depot St. The caller will be George McGibbon and the cuer, Bernie Porter. All are welcome.
Newly graduated dancers are encouraged to join the dancing. Admission is $6 each person. There will be door prizes, 50/50 and refreshments at intermission. Nondancers are welcome to come at no charge.
