RUMFORD — The Veterans’ advocate will not be at the Rumford VA Clinic on Thursday, May 13. His next visit to the Rumford VA Clinic will be from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, May 20, on the third floor.
DIXFIELD — Members of the River Valley Animal Advocates will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 13, at the Dixfield Fire Station. The meetings will be held at that location on the second Thursday of each month until further notice.
Upcoming events of the R.V.A.A. include a plant sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 5 and 6, at Rowe’s Afternoon Delight in Mexico. Donations of plants or plant pots are welcome. DIXFIELD — The Dirigo Middle School Drama Team, under the direction of Lucy Kochis and Margaret Emery, will present the musical, “Dear Edwina” Thursday and Friday, May 13 and 14, at the middle school. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and the show will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The Broadway musical is the story of a young girl named Edwina who thinks that her only talent is to be bossy and give advice to other teens. Tickets will be sold at the door.
DIXFIELD — Dixfield Legion Baseball, old SAD 21 towns, invites baseball players that would be interested in playing summer baseball from June 17 to July 24, to sign up by Saturday, May 15. The legion team is for players age 15 to 19.
