FARMINGTON — Cascade Brook School’s 3rd annual indoor yard sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, May 6, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 7. Items include toys, games, books, sports equipment, baby items, furniture, household items, clothes, etc. This is a fundraising event for school activities.

NEW SHARON — A public eat-in or take-out pork loin dinner will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8, at the Masonic Lodge on Route 2.
The meal includes pork loin, mashed potato with gravy, green beans, corn, homemade yeast rolls, homemade pies, tea and coffee. The cost is $8. The meal is sponsored by the Franklin Lodge #123 and will benefit the building fund.
