Program marks ‘We Love Libraries Week’

AUGUSTA — We Love Libraries Week at University of Maine, Augusta will feature and international keynote and Maine State Librarian.

The Information and Library Services Program at UMA is hosting the keynote event for We Love Libraries Week, “Global Focus, Local Impact: Trends in International Librarianship,” at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, at the Human Rights and Holocaust Center of Maine.

The program will explore the digital age through the lenses of international and regional librarianship, featuring Dr. Rebecca Green from the The Library of Congress and Maine State Librarian Linda Lord.
