Free flu shots in Rangeley

RANGELEY — Rangeley Family Medicine will hold its annual flu clinic from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, in the lower level of the Health Center.

Vaccines will be available to everyone at no cost thanks to tremendous support from the Rangeley Region Health and Wellness Partnership. Insurances will not be billed. Donations to the Health Center, however, are welcome.

Strut for Strays 5K

FARMINGTON — Strut for Strays 5K Run & Dog Walk will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Titcomb Mountain. Recommended arrival time is between 8:30 and 9:15 a.m.

$18 registration includes a T-shirt for the first 100 registrants.

Annual turkey supper is Oct. 11

RANGELEY — The annual Rangeley Congregational Church Mission Board turkey supper will be held Saturday, Oct. 11, at “The Barn” on High Street.

The public supper will be served from 5 p.m. until sold out. The menu will include roast turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, homemade rolls, cranberry sauce and homemade apple crisp with whipped cream.

Takeout will be available. Call for reserved take-outs at 864-5360 or leave a message at 864-5966.

All proceeds will be used for the church’s mission work locally, nationwide and worldwide.

The price will be $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12.
