LEWISTON — All ages are invited to the LegoLandia fundraiser event for the new Pettingill School Park. The two-day event will begin Tuesday, Dec. 30, and continue Wednesday, Dec. 31, of Lewiston Public Library’s Callahan Hall. The hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
A Lego exhibition includes intricate cityscapes and vehicles, townhouses and a Hagrid’s Hut, lighthouses and beach houses, medieval housed and haunted houses; and even a replica of the new Pettingill School Park.
Those wishing may bring their own Lego creations.
Showings of “The Lego Movie” and the documentary, “Love of the Brick,” focusing on adult fans of Lego, will air throughout the event. A food concession booth will be available. The suggested minimum contribution is $5. Children must be accompanied by an adult. All proceeds go toward the new park.

AUBURN — The Auburn United Methodist Church and the Trinity Jubilee Center are looking for winter coats, jackets, hats and mittens, to donate to those in need.

First Saturday sale
WAYNE — Cary Memorial Library will hold its First Saturday at the Williams House Book Sale, Boutique and Breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 3, at 14 Old Winthrop Road.
Stop by for coffee or tea and quiche or a scone and shop at the ongoing book sale and boutique. Books are added to the sale every month. All proceeds benefit the Wayne Library Association.
