Vacation Bible school planned

AUBURN — Vacation Bible School will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, Aug. 3 to 7, at the Court Street Baptist Church, 129 Court St. The school is for children age 4 through sixth grade.

“Cruisin’ the Amazing Amazon” will be a way for kids to learn more about Jesus as Guide, Provider, Shelter, Defender and Savior, as they explore various jungle locations, while learning lessons, making crafts and singing songs.

The offerings for the week will buy Bibles and other Christian materials for children in Hungary.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. each day. The Root Cellar on Birch Street is the pick-up and drop-off point for Lewiston children who need transportation.
