Lifetree to discuss purpose, hope
LEWISTON — The Lifetree Cafe, 1919 Lisbon Road, will host a discussion on hope and life’s purpose through an exclusive film featuring Rwandan John Gasangwa at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27.
“John Gasangwa survived the horrors of starvation and war in part because he made a promise: If he finished his education, he’d serve his people,” said Lifetree Cafe representative Craig Cable. “That promise gave John purpose. A reason to live. We’ll hear his story and then see what we can learn about hope and purpose.”
Admission to the hour-long event is free. Snacks and beverages are available.
