Field hockey, soccer sign-ups
WILTON — The Wilton Recreation Department will hold sign-ups for field hockey and soccer from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 25 and Thursday, Aug. 27 in the main lodge at Kineowatha Park. Field Hockey is open to girls entering grades 3-6. Soccer is open to both boys and girls entering grades K-8. Anyone who would like to help with coaching can contact the Wilton Recreation Department.

Gazebo to be rededicated
LIVERMORE FALLS — The Livermore Falls Gazebo will be rededicated on its 25th anniversary during a special evening of entertainment on Wednesday, Aug. 26.
From 7 to 8 p.m., the Community Band will perform a variety of songs. State Sen. Tom Saviello will be present to offer his thoughts on 25 years of entertainment at the gazebo.
The Emmanuel Assembly of God will cook hot dogs; chips and soda will also be available for a donation from 6 to 8 p.m. Proceeds will go toward the Tri-Town Ministerial Food Cupboard.
Movie night in Fayette planned
FAYETTE — There will be a free movie night at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, at the Fayette Central School. Refreshments will be served.
Senior Citizens Club to meet
BETHEL — The Bethel Senior Citizens Club will meet for its dinner and meeting at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the Funky Red Barn. Doors will open at 10:45. Members can choose from prime rib or haddock.

Knitting guild to meet
PARIS — Western Maine Knitting Guild will meet for their annual celebration of the organization’s charter at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Maurice’s Restaurant, Main Street.
Members should make a reservation by calling 539-2518.
The fair booth exhibit for the Oxford County Fair will be finalized. The theme will be Gift Giving.
Members are asked to bring items such as hats, mittens, scarves and children’s items for the display.
New members are always invited to attend meetings.
Insurance information session planned
RANGELEY — Rangeley Family Medicine, 42 Dallas Hill Road in Rangeley, will host a health insurance literacy session from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2. The session is free and open to the public.
The Maine Primary Care Association, with help from Community Health Options, is helping insured Mainers navigate their insurance to use it for their best health. The session is open to all, regardless of insurance carrier or insurance status. Resources and referral information will be available to take home.

Rangeley Food Pantry open
RANGELEY — The Ecumenical Food Pantry in Rangeley is open each Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon. The public is welcome to come in and learn what it is all about.
The pantry’s located in the undercroft at the Church of the Good Shepherd on Main Street.
