AUBURN — Parents can enjoy a night out and their kids can have a special and safe night of fun at the National Honor Society’s Kiddie Night from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 19, at the Edward Little High School gymnasium.
Children in kindergarten through sixth grade are welcome. The event will offer snacks, games, crafts, movies and more. Admission is $5 each child, and the money raised will go to support local charities. Kiddie Night is overseen by National Honor Society seniors and their advisors.
POLAND — Committee for Women’s Activities night will be observed at Excelsior Grange, 446 Harris Hill Road, on Saturday, March 20. Ladies are reminded to have their entries in the sweet bread baking contest at the hall by 6:30 p.m. for judging before the meeting opens at 7 p.m.
Members and friends of the grange are urged to attend.
LISBON — The Lisbon High School Athletic Boosters’ Club will sponsor a Scrapbooking Day from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 20, at the Lisbon High School cafeteria, Route 196, Lisbon Falls.
The $25 registration fee will include lunch and a goodie bag. There will be door prizes and raffles, and snacks and refreshments will be available before and after lunch. Supplies and kits will be available for purchase. SABATTUS — The 21st Century Community Learning Centers After School Program/Camp 44 will host a spaghetti supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 27, at the Sabattus Primary School. There will be door prizes, a silent auction, raffles and a garage sale table.
Adult tickets are $5.50; children, $3.50; and family, $18. All proceeds will benefit the 21st CCLC programs. The menu will include spaghetti, meatballs, salad, coffee or fruit punch, and Friendly’s ice cream for dessert.

AUBURN — The Auburn Art Club will meet at 2 p.m. Monday, March 22, at the Auburn Public Library. Lynn Lockwood, library director, will speak on Manga in Maine, Auburn Public Library’s teens in the evolution of Japanese graphic arts. The hostesses will be chairwoman Carol Seward, Jan Marston, Maude Abbott and Benita Flynn.
LEWISTON — The standings for the Multi-Purpose Center senior citizen pinochle league, after 26 weeks, are: games, James Green 99, Lucille Boisvert 92, Steve Aqurkis 89; washes, Delice Blais 7, Lucille Boisvert 7, Carmen Charest 7; Stella Asselin 5, Terry Auger 5, Norm Bissonnette 5, Cecile Letourneau 5; Richard Champagne 4.
