JIM POND TOWNSHIP — Franklin County deputies are investigating camp burglaries on the Alder Stream Road, sheriff’s Lt. Niles Yeaton said Monday. The break-ins, which occurred sometime since May 1, were reported Friday.
Forced entry was gained to three camps through doors, he said. There was also an attempted break-in at a fourth camp, but entry was not gained, he said.
In one camp, two hand-held CB radios and a fly fishing vest with an estimated value of $450 were taken, Yeaton said.
At a second camp, a 16-gauge shotgun and some change with an estimated value of $225, he said.
A generator and some change were taken from the third camp with an estimated value of $150.
The damage to the camp doors were minimal, Yeaton said.
