NEW GLOUCESTER – Candidates seeking elected office to fill two terms on the SAD 15 school board and the New Gloucester Board of Selectmen may pick up nomination papers at the New Gloucester Town Hall.
Two posts are open for three-year terms each on the SAD 15 school board.
And, two slots are to be filled on the New Gloucester Board of Selectmen.
Incumbent Selectman Kevin Sullivan announced he is not seeking re-election to the New Gloucester board.
Selectman Lenora Conger has turned in nomination papers seeking re-election to serve another term.
A. Wayne Cobb, a member of the New Gloucester Budget Committee and the Fire Station Committee, has submitted papers seeking a term on the New Gloucester Board of Selectmen.
And, SAD 15 board member David Sutherland seeking re-election for a second three-year term, has turned in nomination papers for re-election. Incumbent James Hutchinson remains undecided if he will run for a second term.
Nomination papers can be obtained at the New Gloucester Town Hall during business hours. Twenty-five signatures of registered voters are needed for a candidate to file for election that will take place on June 13.
