RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Carmen Dionne Zadakis was celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12, at Parish of the Holy Savior.
The Rev. Greg Dube was the celebrant, Bernard Poirier was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Ave Maria,” “You Are Mine,” “Fly Like A Bird” and “J’irai la voir un jour.” The Old and New Testaments were proclaimed by her granddaughter, Wendy Allen. The Prayer of the Faithful was offered by Catherine Napolitano Ross. Offertory gifts were presented by her grandchildren, Megan Noyes, Kasey Zadakis and Kendall Noyes. Personal reflections were shared by her niece, Connie Zadakis Porter.
Spring interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Pallbearers were Nathan Noyes, Steve Demers, Cody Zadakis and Zachary Zadakis. A reception was served by the Daughters of Isabella in the parish hall.
