LISBON FALLS — Carol A. McHenry, 68, of 5 Angel St., Lisbon Falls, died Saturday, March 26, at her home with her loving husband by her side.
Born in Plymouth, N.C., on Sept. 4, 1947, she was the adopted daughter of Robert and Lucy Wallace. She was raised and educated in Virginia Beach, Va., and moved to Maine later in life. On Aug. 28, 2010, she married Thomas Robinson and they made their home in Lisbon Falls. Employed as a bartender for many years, she was active in the American Legion Auxiliary and was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Robinson of Lisbon Falls; a son, James Matthews Jr. of Berwick; two daughters, Denise Bertelli of York, Va., and Lisa Adams and husband, Roger, of Virginia Beach, Va.; a stepdaughter, Hollie Robinson of Industry; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Also surviving is her best friend, Kristine Hall, who helped care for her during her final year.
