Carolyn G. Paul
1932 – 2010
FARMINGTON – Carolyn G. Paul, 78, of Farmington, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 16, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington.
She was born April 17, 1932, in Phillips, the daughter of Birchel and Grace (Worthley) Rollins. Carolyn graduated from Phillips High School where she was a majorette and a Rainbow Girl. In January of 1951, she married Richard B. Paul, who passed away in October of 2007. She worked for many years at Farmington Shoe. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed birdwatching, gardening, crafts and craft fairs, painting and pets.
Carolyn is survived by two daughters, Deborah Kempton and her husband, James, of Farmington and Darcy Kempton and her husband, Joe, of Nashville, Tenn.; her son, Rick Paul and his wife, Janet, of Farmington; eight grandchildren, Seth, Jamie, Jessica, Sean, Adam, Sierra, Jeremiah and Jade; two great-grandchildren, Daven and Kaitlyn; two sisters, Joanne Webber and Anita Beu; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her little dog, Benji.
She was predeceased by her husband; a daughter, Misty Paul; and two brothers, Basil and Frank Rollins.
