Russell and Elizabeth
SCARBOROUGH — The wedding of Elizabeth Nora Chadbourne and Russell John Williams was held at 4 p.m. on Sept. 8 at Blue Point Congregational Church in Scarborough. Lisa Sangillo, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Williams is the daughter of Peter and Patricia Chadbourne of Gorham. Mr. Williams is the son of Chanes and Rosalie Williams of Buckfield.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless chiffon gown and carried a bouquet of red roses.
Kelly Lamb, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Marymargaret Weirick and Tricia Hersey, sisters of the bride, Linda Bialek, friend of the bride, and Libby Chadbourne, niece of the bride. Ava Hersey, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Serving as best man for his brother was Chuck Williams. Ushers were Eric Williams, another brother, Justin Hersey, brother-in-law of the bride, Jason Lamb, cousin of the bride, and Gordon Philbrick, friend of the bridegroom. Lucas Fowler, cousin of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Italian Heritage Center in Portland, after which the couple traveled to St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. They are residing in South Portland.
The bride is a graduate of Bonny Eagle High School and is employed at Martin’s Point Health Care.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Buckfield High School and is employed at Fairchild Semiconductor.
