FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce has announced a new membership category: Artisans and Agriculture.
The board of directors recognizes the need for the small, independently-owned businesses that represent a large and growing population in the greater Franklin County area to have representation and promotional opportunities in order to be even more successful.
The Chamber currently offers memberships for many different small, locally-owned businesses, large nonprofit groups, clubs and organizations and small and very large corporate businesses of all kinds.
“By adding the new membership category, we will be able to expand our promotion of greater Franklin County to residents and visitors alike and this is an exciting opportunity for these businesses,” said Chamber Executive Director Lorna Nichols.
The annual Welcome Guide produced by the Chamber each year will be printed and distributed in early May. The guide gives new members an opportunity to begin gaining exposure through the 10,000 copies distributed locally, statewide and around the world. The Chamber accepts new members throughout the year.
