Charlotte H. Svendsen


TAUNTON, Mass. – Charlotte H. (Heydacker) Svendsen, 88, of Easton, Mass., formerly of Hyde Park, Mass., died on Sunday, Jan. 7, at Morton Hospital.

She was born in Boston, Mass., Nov. 27, 1918, daughter of the late Louis and Bessie (Bearse) Heydacker. She was a graduate of Suffolk University, Class of 1981.

She worked for the government with the Census Bureau. She was an active member of the Covenant Congregational Church in Easton and had lived in Easton for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Viking Club of Quincy, Mass. and enjoyed quilting.

She was the wife of the late Lawrence P. Svendsen; mother of Carl, and his wife, Karen Svendsen, of Franklin, Mass., Neil, and his wife, Diane Svendsen, of Holliston, Mass., Earl, and his wife, Jude Svendsen, of North Andover, Mass., Christine, and her husband, Robert Spears, of Raynham, Mass. and Lorraine, and her husband, Philip Wilbur, of Greene; sister of Louise Grant, of Louisville, Ky.; and also survived by 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
