AUBURN — Charlotte O. Ballard, 88, of Winthrop Street, Hallowell, died May 15, at Hospice House after a brief illness.
She was born in Lynn, Mass., March 2, 1923, the daughter of Harry Barrett and Mildred (Bradbury) Barrett.
Surviving is a daughter, Charlee B. Curtis and her husband, Sherman, of Gardiner; a son, Broderick Ballard and his wife, Victoria, of Leeds; a grandson, Richard Caverly and his wife, Beverly Donovan, of Benton; granddaughters, Sara Thompson and her husband, John and their son, Brandon, of Windsor, Anita Burdzel and her husband, Norman and their children, Christian Caverly, Andrew, Andy and Anna, all of Bar Harbor, Bridey Ballard and her fiance, Thomas Kennedy of Westbrook, Jana Mates and her husband, Brad and their son, Tyler of Mount Juliet, Tenn., Jill Pichette and her husband, David and their daughters, Emma and Alexia, all of Mount Juliet, Tenn., and Trisha Raymond of Boston, Mass.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Irving Ballard.
