Hal Harren, left, of Woodstock, Maine, and Jack Coleman of Woodstock, N.Y., move a stepping stone into place while working on the Homestead hiking trail at the Androscoggin Riverlands State Park in Turner on Wednesday. Harren, a 17-year-old senior at Telstar Regional High School in Bethel, is volunteering with the Maine Conservation Corps, as MCC members build and maintain hiking and biking trails in Maine's newest state park. Two MCC teams have worked in the park this summer, park Manager Steven Gaffney said.
