Last Call for late deputy fire chief

Area firefighters and law enforcement officers lined the front of the fire station to honor one of their own who served the department for over 40 years. A procession of fire engines from as far as Rangeley made its way behind the 1929 fire engine  from Wilton to the Elks Lodge in Farmington for a memorial service. Chief Dunham said he was honoring the wishes of Deputy Chief Burdin that he carry the ashes as Deputy Chief Tom Doak, right, drives the antique fire engine for his funeral.
