AUBURN — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Clement A. Cormier was celebrated by the Rev. Richard McLaughlin Monday at Sacred Heart Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. At the entrance of church, Clem’s family placed the burial pall on his casket symbolizing Clem’s Baptism to a new life. During the service readings were done by Clem’s nephew, Bill Sterritt and his daughter-in-law, Kathy Cormier. The prayer of the faithful was read by Clem’s sister-in-law, Amy Ashton. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Clem’s grandsons, Ben and Alex Cormier. Words of remembrance were shared by Clem’s niece, Barbara Annear, before the Mass concluded. Pallbearers were Donald Woodbury, David Worthing, Brian Annear, Bill Sterritt, as well as Ernie and Donald Ashton.
