Clint Richard Bartley


SABATTUS – Clint R. Bartley, 27, of West Ridge Road, died peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 23.

He was born in Lewiston on Jan. 29, 1979, the son of Richard H. Bartley and Cindy L. Cloutier. He attended local schools and graduated from Leavitt Area High School, Class of 1997. He was currently a student at the Central Maine Community College in the culinary arts program.

He had a passion for cooking and was very good at it. He was active in high school basketball and baseball and was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. He was a real movie buff who enjoyed all different types of movies and all styles of music. His greatest love, and the happiest day of his life was the birth of his son. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Drake H.R. Bartley of Lewiston; his mother and stepfather, David and Cindy Cloutier of Greene; his father and stepmother, Richard H. and Kathy Bartley, of Sabattus; a sister, Kerry, and her husband, Mathew Hryhor, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two half-sisters, Angela Cloutier of Turner and Jenna, and her husband, Anthony Pursley, of Lewiston; maternal grandmother, Theresa Ellis, of Auburn; and paternal grandmother, Lillian Bartley, of Auburn; a special friend, Jacey Anderson of Lewiston; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Donald R. Ellis; paternal grandfather, Henry Bartley; and an uncle, Paul E. Bartley.
