CLT schedules auditions for ‘Rabbit Hole’


AUBURN — Community Little Theatre will hold auditions for its production of “Rabbit Hole” at 6 p.m. Sunday and Tuesday, March 11 and 13, at Great Falls Performing Arts Center.

The play by David Lindsay-Abaire is about Becca and Howie Corbett, who have lost their young son, Danny, to a tragic accident.

Full of insight and surprising wit, “Rabbit Hole” takes an honest and poignant look into this family’s journey toward healing and recovery.

Actors are needed to play five characters: Becca: 30s-early 40s, who left her work at Sotheby’s to stay home with Danny; Howie, Becca’s husband, 30s-40s, a successful Wall Street kind of guy; Izzy, late 20s-early 30s, Becca’s sister; Nat,  60s, mother of Becca and Izzy; and Jason,17, who was driving the car that hit Danny when he ran into the road while chasing the family dog.

Auditions will consist of readings from the script. Sides will be available in advance.

“Rabbit Hole” is directed by Linda Britt. Production crew includes Glynnis Nadel, producer; Vicki Machado and Mark Hazard, assistant directors; Bill Hamilton, set designer; Susan Brown, costumer, Rachel Morin, publicity; and Melody Driscoll, prompter.

“Rabbit Hole” will be presented June 1-10 at the theater at 30 Academy St.
