We’ve got answers
Are you an adult thinking about taking some college courses and finding a new career?
Are you a parent wondering about how you take your teenager on a college visit?
Are you an employer wondering how you can help your employees further their education?
There is now a Web site with answers to these and other questions. The recently updated College for ME-Androscoggin Web site focuses on higher education for distinct groups: teens and their parents, adults interested in starting or returning to college, and employers who want to support their employees’ educational needs. Visit www.collegeformeandroscoggin.org to find the answers you need.
You’ll discover “Virtual” Aspirations Labs for Teens and Adults, where Web users can research and learn more about opportunities in and beyond central Maine, and you’ll find an employers section that includes an honor roll of employers who are currently supporting their staff’s educational needs. There is also an online Degree Monument, where people who live or work in Androscoggin County can join a virtual celebration of all those who have already obtained their degree.
The benefit of the Web page is you can use it any time, any place, any pace. So check it out and start getting answers to those questions!
