College to offer general ed courses


LEWISTON — The Central Maine Medical Center College of Nursing and Health Professions will offer two general education courses during its summer session.

BIO 213 ­ Microbiology: The four-credit class includes lectures and laboratory work. It will begin May 11 and conclude on June 24. Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 11:50 and 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. The instructor will be Kim Emery.

PHM 102 – Pharmacology Fundamentals: The three-credit on-line course will begin on June 28 and conclude Aug. 20. High-speed Internet access is required.

The instructor will be Colleen Dutile.
