AUBURN — Comedy Fix, the stand-up comedy fundraising series, will return to the Auburn Fireside Inn, 1777 Washington St., for Comedy Fix XXIII. The show will take place at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, with net proceeds benefiting Good Shepherd Food Bank.
Comedy Fix founder and host Mark Turcotte will welcome Josh Ramirez, Louie Martinez, Elena Jawitz, Trent Wells and Randy Williams.
Ramirez has been entertaining crowds throughout New England since 2008. He’s performed at Mohegan Sun, Catch a Rising Star and Jokers Wild. The Worcester, Mass., native has also worked with nationally-touring comedians Gary Gulman, Eugene Mirman and Kelly MacFarland.
Affectionately known as “Grizzly,” Martinez hails from Lawrence, Mass., and recently competed in Last Comix Standing at Foxwoods Resort Casino. He produces weekly comedy shows in Manchester, N.H., and Salisbury, Mass.
Jawitz hosts the annual Pride R.I. event and is a regular at The Comedy Studio.
Wells was a finalist in New England’s Funniest Comic Contest and Williams has played clubs throughout the country including San Jose Improv.
The show is for audiences 21 and older and contains adult language and content. Doors open at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $10 and may be reserved at www.comedyfixlive.com.
