Why are no charges being filed?

I don't know what it will take to get drivers to see motorcycles. It's not like they are invisible. Most motorcycles have lights on 100% of the time. A motorcyclist was killed a few weeks in Madison when a 17 year old driver turned left in front of him. No charges were filed in that incident either. Why are these drivers not held accountable? I drive a motorcycle and am a very defensive driver, but I still worry that some idiot will make a sudden turn into my lane without warning, and I won't have time to react. People need to wake up and pay attention when they are driving.

I agree...

I've been riding since 1979 and agree with you. At least a "failure to yield" seems to be appropriate for the truck driver. Doesn't make sense....
