B. Fowler: Reverse the LePage tide

I am supporting Nichole Stevens in her run for the Maine House representing New Gloucester, Lisbon and Durham.

I am concerned that Gov. Paul LePage is taking Maine in the wrong direction, and my current state representative has been a reliable rubber stamp on LePage's backward agenda.

I have had the opportunity to see Nichole Stevens in action, and believe her energy and passion will be great assets in helping Maine move forward when she joins the Legislature.

Her priorities on incentivizing job growth and strengthening public education are exactly the kinds of investments into Maine’s future that are called for. She will also be a strong voice in Augusta representing the interests of my area.

With my vote I am hoping to reverse the LePage tide by electing Nichole Stevens to the Maine House and moving Maine forward.

Wrong direction?

By that do you mean paying our bills, lowering the tax burden on Mainers and investing in all pathways of education? Do you mean letting some agency heads spend our money to their own whims and political agendas with no consequences? I think I'll stick with Governor LePage and his administration. Maine can't afford to go back in November. Vote for conservative candidates it will only get better and better.

Reverse the LePage Tide

Yes, by all means vote to keep the State finances in the RED. Don't vote for any attempt to have a balanced budget. Join all the other Democratic controlled States and cities in financial disaster.

Bob, Is not it convenient to

Bob,
Is not it convenient to sling mud (i.e. “backward agenda”) without giving any specifics.
One man’s backward agenda is another man’s forward agenda.
