N. Bourgoin: Media show political bias

The broadcast and print media shamefully make no bones about their leftist alliance. They think that people have to just accept their reporting as the gospel truth.

Most of their articles are either flavored, made up, distorted or omitted in order to enhance the advancement of their agenda, or to mask the encouraging results of the other side. And, according to the book “Culture Warrior,” it is interesting that of the major media journalists, 20 percent (mostly Democrats) are atheist, which is more than the general-population average (9 percent).

What happened to the media’s integrity (Paul Harvey), honesty and dignity? Their aims seem to be purposeful only to their cause, enjoying their power to persuade and influence the country.

But with influence comes consequences. Society and the nation’s culture are changing. People are struggling and experiencing the reverse of a change and the hope that was promised. The public has become tearfully demoralized.

Even the American Civil Liberties Union, which is gaming the legal system, admits that the news is tilting to the left. Broadcast media and the press are playing their fiddles while the country is being misinformed and disunited.

That kind of reporting is degenerating and distorting the culture of a society that thinks it can rely on the truth.

To think that the media are supporting the left’s agenda, pointing to a looser way of life, is not only disgraceful, but absurd.

I f you judge the accuracy of your favorite news source by its popularity, you get what you deserve.

"To think that the media are supporting the left’s agenda, pointing to a looser way of life, is not only disgraceful, but absurd." Does that mean you're disgraceful and absurd, Neil?

How about this. Prove that media leans to the left. Show me peer reviewed proof that it does. Because I am sick of trying to defend it based purely on opinions, while any mention of the bias of Fox News get hit with the "No, they're fair...and balanced!"

According to the book: "Culture Warrior?"

Now what non-biased, middle of the road, paragon of truth and virtue authored "Culture Warrior?"

None other than Fox's own Bill O'Reilly!!!

At the very least, Neil Bourgoin should have made 'no bones' about his rightist core values and sources.

Well, if you're not a lefty,

Well, if you're not a lefty, what else is there to be but a righty? Centrist is nothing more than a lefty who won't admit to it, so that isn't even a viable entity.

Perhaps that is why these

Perhaps that is why these leftist news organizations are struggling to survive and have dwindling ratings. Overwhelmingly, Americans see through the bias and chose alternative media outlets like FoxNews.

They're getting their butts

They're getting their butts kicked by Fox; they know it, they don't like it, and they don't have a squat of a clue as to what to do about it except lie and distort.

MARK GRAVEL's picture

Pirate, Perhaps their only

Perhaps their only plan is to buddy up to a leftist dictator, sorry – leftist president, and then lobby for censorship of FoxNews.

You had it right the first

You had it right the first time; dictator was correct.
