Stairs or Handicap accessibility?

Last time I went to the ROOST I had my 82 year old father-in-law with me and there was no handicapped parking available and when I questioned this I was told by management "We are grandfather claused on the handicapped law" and when I replied thats not true I was laughed at and dismissed. I've never been back. Farmington selectmen let us down on this one. The stairs are a help but making the ROOST comply with state & federal handicap laws would have been money better spent.
