Those people who are planning to vote for same sex marriage should stop and think about what they are voting for.
If homosexuals are allowed to get married, what will they go after next? Will they want permission to be coaches, Scout leaders or teachers where they will have control over children?
Why should they be allowed to change the meaning of the words family, marriage, mother, father, husband and wife?

Homosexuals are already allowed to get married, Mr. Bragdon. In fact, they have this right in all 50 states. The problem is that they want men to marry men and women to marry women, which of course, requires redefining the meaning of conventional marriage. Another burden of "acceptance" being placed upon heterosexuals in order to satisfy their endless demands for "equality". They already have more rights than the rest of us. My heterosexuality does not guarantee me that I will not be denied housing, employment, or a loan. Try and deny any of these things to a homosexual and see where you end up.

Have you seen this one Paul? It,s two men or two women (I can't tell) with a bunch of kids and one of them says,"we have almost a normal family only with two moms and two dads". Almost a normal family with two moms and two dads not only sounds confusing, it sounds dysfunctional. I don't think this ad is helping the cause much.

One word describes it perfectly..."Almost"...a normal family. Only a kid could be brainwashed into thinking that a family with two moms or two dads is normal. There are no limits to the extent to which they will go to have their way.

(BTW - They already are)
Listen, you are free to not like it, consider it a sin and whatnot. However, if the government is going to deny rights to a group, it can't be because of a religious belief or that you find something icky.

Mr Bragdon, we have for ages allowed men to coach girls and women to coach boys. Why is this acceptable to you but homosexuals coaching kids is not? What if we make a law where homosexual men can only coach girls and homosexual women can only coach boys? Would that make you feel better?
Regardless of your stance on this issue, your argument here is off base.
PS. There are many teachers who are homosexuals today so they don't have to wait for that to come to pass.
