American voters failed to read the writing on the walls and elected Barack Obama for another four years of deceitful promises that will put America in a vulnerable state of economic failures that will bring additional suffering for the American people.
We cannot forget the money the country owes to China and other countries.
One way to defend and shield against the uncertainties beyond is to pray to God for his guidance and protection. Otherwise, America will become open season for communism.
I was in complete disbelief when I learned that same-sex marriage had been voted into law. It is unfortunate that the voters were convinced that gays should be entitled to the same rights and privileges as a man and a woman in a legitimate marriage. I never expected to see something so disgraceful and dishonorable in my lifetime. It brings shame to the state of Maine.
People have forgotten that God created Adam and Eve, not Vernon and Oscar or Alice and Sally. Moreover, same-sex marriage became a state law contrary to God's law and is in violation of the 10 Commandments for those who are Catholic. It is despicable and contemptible in nature.
As the new year nears, I fear that during the next four years America will remain negatively in a problematic stage of unsound issues, brought forward from 2012.
That is why my trust is in God and not in the government.

The People of Maine and the United States of America lawfully re-elected President Barack Obama, Robert.
We re-elected a black man who publicly and openly supported same sex marriage.
We re-elected a black man who is a member of the Democrat Party, who voted, in their platform, to remove "God" from it. They also did not allow any other names in it, including KKK Grand Wizard, the Masonic Wonderous Poobah and the boogey man, for that matter.
People have not forgotten that God created Adam and Eve. How can we? We just aren't willing to drink that "kool aid" any longer. If you believe in a "God". Fine.
But, don't be selective, Robert. Remember that you must also believe that same God had a murdering grandson named, Cain who killed his younger brother, Abel.
You also must believe that God and Adam didn't quite hit it off, from the beginning. Adam was lonely and couldn't stand being alone with God in the so-called Garden of Eden, and needed an "Eve" to be created as a "help meet". Not a good start to the story. Is it, Robert?
Yet, it's awfully similar, and even almost exactly like, much older stories (yes. older) that came out of North America, China, Greece, Egypt, Rome and Palestine, the most recent version.
As we used to say on Knox Street in Lewiston, the jigs up. That story is like a worn out VHS tape. We've gone to digital and can make our own comparisons and constrasts, and draw conclusions from these that are just as credible as any Matthew, Mark, Luke or John ...none of which ever met Jesus, by the way.
We also don't send our kids to catechism anymore either, especially if a priest plans on showing up.
And, we certainly won't believe anyone currently or previously employed by Halliburton or in anyway related to the Bush's when they say anything about "weapons of mass destruction" or "the war will only cost us 6 billion dollars and will be over with in two weeks", eh Rumsfeld?
The re-election of President Obama, a likely Kenyan to boot, is a total repudiation of your school of thought, Robert.... and we are, in my view, much, much better off as a world people and a Nation because of it.
Suffering would have continued and worsened under a Romney presidency, and you should know it. Regardless of how much praying anyone might then have done.
And, stop ridiculing the idea of communism. You seem to forget that your God and his son, Jesus, were / are communists, metaphorically speaking.
In fact, their communistic characteristics may be the only redeeming part of that story / myth. I only wish the so-called Christians would practice it. Commies "communing" in church one hour a week and heartless capitalist wanne-be bankers the other 179 hours.
I suggest you'll rethink your lack of trust in government once the government house-cleaning begins in earnest come 2014 and wipes out the rest of the dead wood republicans.
Then the revolution will have been completed and the republican party can be finally buried, along with their predecessors, the KKK, Masons, Catholics, banksters, Elks and other racist front organizations, once and for all.

There is no wealth or property ownership without labor, which has not been fairly compensated, and we all know that. Once we balance fair compensation for labor from the property owners and wealthy, there will be economic balance, without further exploitation.
Excessive profits are symptoms of unfair labor practices, including exploitation of the minimum wage earners, especially.
Raising the minimum wage to 10 or 15 dollars an hour while freezing the cost of goods and services will stimulate the economy and begin to wright the historical imbalance perpetrated by the banksters, capitalists, oligarchs and their facists puppets in government. ... at least until we finish them off with the 2014 purge of the remaining Republicans.
Capital gains taxes and estate taxes will also, with their increases, ensure these properties revert to the People for redistribution.
Live well and high on the hog while you live, my friend. But, the writing is on the wall now that the votes have all been counted and the numbers of votes are only going to increase.
The People in charge, from now on, who have their finger on the "button" are the representatives of the 99 percent. And, there is nothing anyone can do to stop it.
Europe knows it. Russia knows it. And, so does China.
They shudder at the thought of the same thing happening in their countries ... I mean, the banksters, capitalists, oligarchs and facists are the ones shuddering. ...as they should be.
The only debt the U.S. has is to it's own private banking cartel.... the so-called, and misnomered, Federal Reserve, and we can, with the swipe of an Executive Order, replace it with a truely "national" currency and eliminate that debt in an instant.
President Jackson did it.
President Lincoln did it.
And, President John F. Kennedy did it with the inauguration of the U.S. silver certificate, which he was, within a few weeks, apparently killed for doing so by the puppet players G.H.W. Bush, CIA, Nazi, Rothchild bankers, et. al. and not Lee Harvey Oswald, who, we now know, was actually present to prevent a suspected assassination attempt on J. Edgar's orders.
The only financial neutering that is going to occur is that of the banksters and their government shills, facists and wanna-be oligarchs still hiding, out of sight (Senator Graham and McCain ...i.e. Keating Five sell-out) and most of those still addicted enough to watch the implosion and three ring Faux News circus show.
Denial never looked so obvious ... Oh, and don't look now, but we ain't supporting those thugs in Isreal any longer either. Again, the jig is up, and, as President Washington so rightly said, we should not become entangled in foreign wars ... especially those provoked by terrorists in the name of the so-called Hebrew or Christian religion.
That old VHS tape just got twisted up in the VCR player and it just ain't gonna play the same, if ever, again.

An hour of labor should be just as valuable as an hour of healthcare. Period.
I know laborers who can lift a 100 pounds all day long.
I know healthcare workers, including doctors, who can't.
I know laborers who can't perform healthcare.
And, I know healthcare workers who can't lift a 100 pounds if their lives depended on it.
One trade / skill exchanges what they can do with the other in order, under the principle of reciprocity, that their own needs may be met.
This is what equality looks like.
What we have today, in this trumped up society, is an unequal emphasis on the value of one and a minimizing and, often, racially devaluing of the other.
The labor of slaves, outcasts and American Indians built the railroads, skyscrapers and this country. Not owners or their colonial bankster funded mercenaries at Blackwater, Xe or Romney's Mormon infested FBI.
Democrats will be lightening them of their jobs and criminal enterprises as soon as possible, you can be sure. This will be one way Democrats will be creating new jobs for the economy.
As to rebuilding the original slave-built railroads and highways, you can be sure the here-to-fore outcasts and former slaves will be the ones in control of these job creating, infrastructure rebuilding projects, as is only right.
Watch the Republicans and their K-street lobbyists squirm over the next hours and days as the tax increases automatically kick in to choke off their client welfare recipients at Bechtel, Halliburton and the other Bilderberger scammers who are mere fronts for the private bankster cartel ...i.e. the misnomered "Federal Reserve".
...a period of affluence for the lower and upper middle class will rarely have been experienced anywhere in the world, as we are about to experience here in these United States once the fraudsters are kicked to the curb once and for all over the next days, weeks and months ....never to raise their ugly heads again.
Just another slave vote standing up.....talking back and ....speaking out.

Next time you need a prostate examine, we can call in the lifter down the street to administer it. Since you have solid concept of economics, all labor is equal, that should work out fine.
Not all labor is equal. Someone who can perform surgery is more valuable than one who can lift 100 pounds all day. I guess that in your system, if you do not have something to trade, you are SOL when it comes to healthcare.
Currency is the ether that binds transactions. You work for dollars, then you exchange those dollars for what you want and can afford. By your definition, one can trade labor or dollars and still have equality.
Now if you are saying the all units of labor are equal, well, you can wait another two millennium with the meek for your inheritance.

Oh. It's true that only the rich, white kid gets funded to go to med school. I'll grant you that, but that does not mean the poor dark skinned kid isn't just as capable of learning surgical skills.
It is also true that it is more likely that the dark skinned kid, once a surgeon, would provide his or her healing services for far less than "whitey" ....even, free.
The same is true for white law students as compared to the darkies. It is true that white students graduate and pass bar exams, and have done so, in this country, for hundreds of years. Nearly all of our Presidents were / are white lawyers.
It wasn't until recently that darkies could even attend law or medical school, generally speaking. And, today, we've elected a black, Harvard Law graduate ... twice!
Whoda thunk!
While Willard, the white Harvard grad, was inheriting his Dad's wealth and "legally" stealing his own with that and borrowed money from other people through Bain, to a present-day, net worth of some hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars, our President Obama was, on his graduation, practicing poverty law and helping poor Elders and families with housing issues for, relatively speaking, pennies.
Now, in your world, Mark, Barack should have insisted on hundreds of thousands of dollars, or, as Mitt Romeny most likely would have demanded, .....millions!
But, in Barack's world view, pennies were enough. His reward was likely in having performed, with his learned skills, his duty to others. What a guy. What an American. What a Kenyan. What an Earthling.
You've heard the maxim before, Mark:

Contentment knowing that another day has gone by without a Romney presidency dampening the human spirit and condition.

George W. Bush borrowed hundreds of billions from it over his eight years in office, which was 10 trillion dollars in debt by the time the Republicans were thrown out of the White House. In his last few months in office, the Prez bilked our Treasury of hundreds of billions on behalf of his fractional bankster criminal friends (i.e. Lehman Brothers, Chase Manhattan, Morgan Stanley, Barclay's and the other Bank of London / Rothchild frontsters) and their insurance company ponzi schemers (AIG, Abramoff, Madoff, et.al.)...many of which are now under investigation, have gone bankrupt and / or are already in jail.

Vote Democrat in 2014 and let's finish the purge.
Cuba survived nearly intolerable embargos by each household growing their garden / farm food, by educating it's own engineers and doctors and by decentalizing political power to the People.
Russia is going through it's own revolution and is rejecting Putin / Medvedev and their banksters ... it's not over, but it's well on it's way to being over. The United States is, once again, a beacon of hope for them.
China, as well, is demanding exactly what Obama delivered here, power to the majority of voters with protection for it's minority, and they will get it, despite the banksters and facists who think they can retain their toeholds in Formosa and Hong Kong.
The French have spoken to reject the banksters.
All of South America is nearly pro-Obama and, therefore, pro-USA.
...and Lindsay Graham, John McCain, Joe Lieberman and Mitch McConnell are swirling in the same toilet bowl the Bohner is about to flush for the sake of saving his own skin by selling them all out....
You gotta love the obviousness of all of this...

When Reagan left office, there was a huge national debt, that Clinton successfully reduced, but did not eliminate.
When G. W. Bush began his 8 years, he enjoyed a 2 trillion dollar surplus that he quickly frittered away to his bankster and military industrial complex (i.e. Cheney's Halliburton, especially).
When he ended his 8 years, Bush left us, as you point out, with a further 5 trillion in debt. He, therefore, spent or mispent, a net 7 trillion dollars more than he received.
Obama inherited trillions in credit card debt from Bush as a result of his illegal Iraq and Afghanistan wars, which Obama has now ended.
In the face of this, by sheer force of personality, Obama has turned world opinion in our favor, where it was once nearly unanimously opposed to us because of the crimes perpetrated against them by the Bush, Cheney, Rmsfeld, Yoo, Bank of London, Rothchild bankster oil and war profiteers since September 11, 2001... a day the Isreali's can't stop celebrating ...not since we caught them dancing beside their white van on the New Jersey side of the Hudson River, while they were set up to video tape the planes crashing into the twin towers of the World Trade Center.
With any luck, the Russians and Chinese will do us all a favor with their own version of an assassination cruise missle into Netanyahoo's bedroom window...of course, you'd never hear Pat Robertson ask for such an assassination of a foreign head of state ...unless his name was Huga Chavez.
You remember him. He was the brave leader who exposed G.W. Bush as satan at his U.N. presentation while Bush was still the Prez.....
President Chavez was quoted as saying, "I can still smell the sulfur" as he rose before the diaz and the world assembly to their laughter.
Fortunately, our President is honored throughout the world.
Fortunately, our Nation is stronger and more powerful, because we are no longer, obviously, bent on war for profit.
Fortunately, our Nation is more just, because we are investigating, trying and jailing the ponzi schemers, the banksters at Lehman, Goldman and tracking the off-shore tax fraudsters ....
The thrill of it all.
No. I don't claim to have exact numbers, but I ain't wrong.
It got worse under Bush. Way worse.

Anyone may arrange his affairs so that his taxes shall be as low as possible; he is not bound to choose that pattern which best pays the treasury. There is not even a patriotic duty to increase one's taxes. Over and over again the Courts have said that there is nothing sinister in so arranging affairs as to keep taxes as low as possible. Everyone does it, rich and poor alike and all do right, for nobody owes any public duty to pay more than the law demands.

A Tax Tactic That’s Open to Question
"That quotation has become sacred to opponents of taxes, and has often been invoked this year to rebut criticism of Mitt Romney for paying relatively low tax rates.
But nothing in it says the government is required to make it possible to avoid paying taxes. Nor does it provide that all efforts to avoid taxes are legal.
In fact, the appeals court ruling by Judge Hand concluded that the taxpayer — who had concocted an elaborate scheme to convert ordinary income into capital gains, and therefore pay less in taxes — had violated the law.
The Supreme Court unanimously upheld Judge Hand’s decision. Certainly there is a rule saying that a motive to avoid taxes is permissible, wrote Justice George Sutherland, but that was irrelevant because the strategy used by the taxpayer “upon its face lies outside the plain intent of the statute. To hold otherwise would be to exalt artifice above reality and to deprive the statutory provision in question of all serious purpose.”

I live a minimal life style and save (aka hoard) money.
Let me point out a difference between you and I. I respect people’s freedoms to buy your books or whatever QVC is without criticism as long as they are not asking for my money. That is called capitalism, and I support it.
Another, nit about liberals is that they think they know what is best for everyone else. I realize that people are different and should be allowed to pursue their own happiness at their own peril – color it freedom.

Liberals want women to have the freedom to carry to term pregancies that they can not maintain, that may kill them, that are the result of rape or incest. Liberals want you to have the freedom to go to jail or kill you because you engage in certain sexual acts with concenting adults. Up is down; black is white. Everyone is free to do whatever I like. Small government for business; huge government for private behavior.
I support capitalism too. I just understand its limitations.
