Don Ray, working for Dave Corcoran Construction, works on the exterior of a building at the corner of Turner and Center streets in Auburn, across from A-1 Auto. Rich Hall, the owner of A-1 Auto, said he recently purchased the building at auction. He has lived in the area all his life and has owned the business since 1989. He is preparing the building to be set up as a garage to work on the vehicles he sells, and is considering opening it up to the public for inspections and other automotive work. "I know how dangerous it was when cars were backed up when it was a gas station and convenience store, so I am taking that into consideration." Hall said.
