Richard R. Gravel

AUBURN — Richard R. Gravel, 68, of Lewiston, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.

He was born in Lewiston, June 16, 1944, son of Hector Gravel Sr. and Anne (Lebel) Gravel. He was educated in Lewiston schools and was employed in
construction.

Richard enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards with his friends and attending state fairs.

He is survived by his mother of Leeds; four sisters, Prudence Beaudoin and husband, Paul of Sabattus, Helen Dionne of Auburn, Diane Beaulieu and husband, Denis of Lewiston and Anne Johnson and husband, Gregory of Leeds; two brothers, Hector Gravel Jr. and wife, Monique of Lewiston and James Gravel and wife, Shelley of Locust Grove, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Cecile Bouchard and Delores Beliveau; and a brother-in-law, Dolor Dionne.

He will be missed by all. A special thanks to his friends and neighbors for all their care and support and a heartfelt thanks to the staff of Androscoggin Home Health and the Hospice House.
