I would like to "thank" the person who took my wallet from a local restaurant in Turner Dec. 8. The wallet was later found and returned to me, without the large amount of cash it had contained.
The only thing I hope for is that someone was in a great need of money to help her family with food or heat.
One good thing — my driver's license and personal photos were still in the wallet, but it was not a good way to start the new year.

The finder was entitled to no more than the usual 10% finder's fee, ("Pirates' Handbook of Proper Behavior", Page 12, paragraph 4). The rest of the money should have stayed in the wallet with the other items of import and returned to its proper owner, anonymously, of course.

He/She probably figured they hit the lottery.
It's a shame. If your reading this and took her wallet, contact her and do the right thing.
