Passing laws for gun control, taxing bullets, removing weapons from the public's hands and limiting the number of rounds will not stop the chaos. That is because there is no one at the schools, malls and college campuses to protect others who have weapons.
How many bullets did Timothy McVeigh or the terrorists use?
Like the saying goes, when you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns. They will find a way.

Why bother to have ANY laws?
If there should be no restrictions on guns, based on the notion that criminals will break the law and obtain guns, why not apply that reasoning universally, and have no laws at all?
Somehow, that line of "reasoning" is used only for laws restricting weapons of mass destruction.
